Pogačar completes treble by winning Fleche Wallonne
Slovenia's cycling superstar Tadej Pogačar won the 87th edition of the Fleche Wallonne race on 19 April to become only the seventh rider in history to claim victory at all three Ardennes Classics.
Pogačar caps season with Lombardy win
Bergamo – Slovenian star cyclist Tadej Pogačar wrapped up the season in style by winning the last big race, Il Lombardia, on Saturday.
Trumping an all-star line-up, Pogačar finished the race ahead of the Italian Fausto Masnada and the Brit Adam Yates. The Slovenian Primož Roglič was fourth.

Roglič to go for Tour victory, to skip Vuelta
Amsterdam – Primož Roglič, the Slovenian rider topping the UCI world individual ranking, will make a renewed bid at winning the world’s No. 1 race, Tour de France, after being pipped to the top spot by his compatriot Tadej Pogačar last year. He will not defend the Vuelta win though.

Roglič first Slovenian cyclist ever to win Vélo d’Or
Ljubljana – Slovenian cyclist Primož Roglič has won the 2020 Vélo d’Or award by the French cycling magazine Vélo Magazine, given annually to the rider considered to have performed the best over the year.
The 31-year-old, who currently competes for the Dutch Team Jumbo-Visma, is the first Slovenian ever to win the Golden Bicycle award since its induction in 1992.
Tour of Turkey scheduled for April postponed
The Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkey, originally scheduled to make its WorldTour debut April 18-23, has been postponed and will seek a later date on the 2017 calendar, the world cycling's governing body announced on Feb. 15.
