Motorcyclist killed by lightning strike, police in northern Greece say
Authorities in Greece say a 58-year-old motorcyclist was killed when lightning struck him on a highway.
Police say the man was found dead 40 kilometers east of the northern city of Thessaloniki with a hole in his helmet, presumably the result of the lightning striking him.
The victim was driving toward the city in stormy conditions.

Belgrade house damaged by flames after lightning strike
A private house was struck by a lightning at 12:30 CET on Thursday in Belgrade's Kaludjerica neighborhood, the daily Blic is reporting.
Nobody was injured as the house was empty during the strike and the resulting fire that destroyed the roof and the loft.
