London's renowned waxwork museum Madame Tussauds opened this week its first outpost in the Arab world in Dubai, which hopes to attract millions of tourists to Expo 2020.

The wax figure of famous legendary Turkish actor Tarık Akan, who died of cancer on Sept. 16, 2016, is now on display at Madame Tussauds Istanbul. Officials said they had his measures in 2000-2001.

Turkey's first wax statue museum is in the central province of Eski?ehir. Peruvian sculptor Walter Huaman has created many life-size sculptures of famous movie characters from Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger to Star Wars’ Yoda and Darth Vader, which resemble those seen in Madame Tussauds’ museum.

The difference is, though, that he is using latex instead of wax.

A pleasant surprise awaited Londoners visiting Madame Tussaud’s famous wax museum. The 67 year-old “Terminator”, Arnold Swarzenegger pretended he was his own wax figure and surprised everyone trying to take pictures with him. With the help of a bit of professional make-up, the famous actor promoted his After School All-Stars project which seeks to help poor children everywhere.
