Bulgaria Heightens Security Measures After Paris Attacks

Bulgaria will heighten its security measures after the series of attacks in Paris on Friday night, which claimed the lives of at least 127 people and left at least 180 others injured.

This became clear after an extraordinary high-level meeting on security and migration at the interior ministry, which had been summoned by Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov on Saturday.

Faz?l Say awarded secularism prize in Paris

World-renowned Turkish pianist Faz?l Say was awarded the "2015 International Secularism Prize" (Prix de la Laïcité) by the France Committee of Secularism on Oct. 26.

The event was hosted at the Paris Municipality Building with the attendance of French Prime Minister Manuel Valls and Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo, along with other guests.

French Sport Stars Die as Helicopters Collide in Argentina

Three French sport stars were among the ten victims of a mid-air helicopter collision in Argentina on Monday.

The victims were participating in the shooting of a reality TV show when two helicopters collided in the air, France 24 reports.

All ten people on board of the two helicopters - eight French passengers and their two Argentinian pilots, died in the accident.
