British Experts to Conduct Underwater Archaeological Studies in Bulgaria
British specialists will study the Bulgarian Black Sea seabed for archaeological finds that could be included into a map of Bulgaria's underwater cultural heritage, according to the Culture Ministry.

New underwater technology explores Byzantine past
Underwater works on the Aegean and Mediterranean coastline are bringing to light the remains of ancient wreckage. Among them is the Tabak Vessel, highlighting Byzantine plate commerce Underwater archaeological work in the Mediterranean has uncovered the remains of a port from the Bronze Age, along with 12 shipwrecks estimated to be 2,500 years old.

New international mission ready to explore Antikythera shipwreck
First underwater archaeology vessel launched
Konyaâs Selçuk University on June 17 launched Turkeyâs first underwater archaeology research vessel in Antalya. With teams from Warsaw and Naples, the university will set off in July 1 to discover the underwater archaeological richness of the Mediterranean, spanning until Aug. 31.
