Migrant dies of hypothermia as gov't tries to improve camps
As authorities seek to improve living conditions for migrants at reception centers around the country amid forecasts of another cold snap later this week, a 20-year-old Afghan man died of hypothermia early on Tuesday after crossing the Evros River in northern Greece.
Corpse found in Evros river
The decomposed corpse of an unidentified male was found Wednesday in Evros River, which runs along the Greek-Turkish border.
The body was found in the area of Soufli.
According to the police investigation so far, the man was most likely a refugee or migrant trying to cross into the country and there were no signs of foul play.

Court releases suspended academic, teacher bound for Greece after escape attempt
A local court in the northwestern border province of Edirne ordered the release of an academic and a teacher, who were suspended from their duties as part of the ongoing probe into the July 15 failed coup attempt, after they attempted to escape to Greece illegally from the province's Uzunkörpü district on Sept. 11, Doğan News Agency has reported.

Bulgarian border police rescued on Wednesday 111 migrants from drowning in the Maritsa river.
This was announced by the deputy chief secretary of the interior ministry Georgi Arabadzhiev.
It has not yet been established whether the migrants are of Syrian or Iraqi origin, daily Sega reports.

Second Edition of Morocco Days in Bulgaria Begins in Sofia on November 30
The second edition of the "Morocco Days in Bulgaria" begins on November 30 and will last for two weeks until December 13.
The event is organised by the Embassy of Morocco in Bulgaria and will take place in Sofia and Plovdiv.
The opening will be given with the concert "Soul of Morocco" by the famous singer and songwriter Oum in Sofia on November 30.
Maritsa Becomes Bulgaria's Third Fully Completed Motorway
Maritsa motorway in Bulgaria is now fully completed after the section between Orizovo and Dimitrovgrad was officially launched on Thursday.
Thus Maritsa has become the third fully completed motorway in Bulgaria after Trakia and Lyulin.
Maritsa has a total length of 117 km and is part of Pan-European Corridor IV.
