NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte will visit Athens Tuesday for talks with Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis, Defense Minister Nikos Dendias and others. 

The visit will follow a Monday stop in Ankara, where Rutte will meet Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and top officials. 

NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte will be in Türkiye on Nov. 25 to hold talks with senior Turkish officials, including President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, in his first official trip to Ankara after taking office on Oct. 1.

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte will visit Ankara next week for high-level discussions with Turkish officials, the alliance announced in a press release on Friday.

Scheduled for Monday, Rutte's visit will include meetings with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, and Defense Minister Yasar Guler.

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte has named Radmila Sekerinska from North Macedonia as his deputy. Sekerinska previously served as Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration and as Minister of Defense during North Macedonia's accession to NATO in 2020.
