ISIL claims California mass killers as followers
Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) said on Dec. 4 that the married couple who killed 14 people in a mass shooting in Southern California were its followers, and FBI agents raided a home apparently belonging to a friend of the husband.

US police have shot and killed 385 people during the first five months of this year, a rate of more than two a day, the Washington Post reported on May 30.
The death rate is more than twice that tallied by the federal government over the past decade, a count that officials concede is incomplete, the newspaper said.
