When people say gender equality is a must for development, they are not just speaking empty words. Research indicates that if women participate in working life equally with men, $12 trillion more will be added to the global economy. 

Greece can expect to receive about 35 million holidaymakers in 2021, while its direct tourism revenues are projected to range around 19-20 billion euros in that year, not including revenues from transport services, according to the latest study by consulting firm McKinsey and the Association of Hellenic Tourism Enterprises (SETE).

Vasil Shtonov was appointed as Economy and Energy Minister in Bulgaria's caretaker government unveiled on Tuesday.

Shtonov graduated as bachelor of sciences in electronic engineering and finance at the University of Pennsylvania in 1995.

He graduated as master of sciences in business administration at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 1999.
