Strong Earthquake in Taiwan, no Evidence of Injuries and Damages

An earthquake of magnitude 4.8 is recorded this morning in central Taiwan.
 
According to the seismological service of the island, quoted by TASS, the epicenter was in Nantou County at a depth of 5.2 km.
 
The tremor was also felt in the cities of Taichung and the Zhanghua and Yunlin districts. There is no evidence of injuries or damages.
 

Earthquake of Magnitude 4/7 on the Richter Scale was Recorded in the Vrancea Mountain, Romania

An earthquake with 4.7 magnitud on the Richter scale is registered in the territory of Romania, in the Vrancea Mountain, the European Seismological Center reported.

The earthquake is felt in 12.24 local time with an epicenter at 48 km. west of Focsani and 148 km. north of Bucharest, with a depth of 140 km.

There is no evidence of injuries and material damage.

6 on the Richter Scale Shook Papua New Guinea

An earthquake of 6 on the Richter scale shook central parts of Papua New Guinea just weeks after another powerful earthquake whose victims are now more than 30 people, reported RIA Novosti.

The epicenter of the earthquake yesterday was 83 km southwest of the city of Porghira. So far, there have been no reports of casualties and destruction.

An Earthquake of Magnitude 4.8 on the Richter Scale in Plovdiv And Asenovgrad

A 4.8 earthquake on the Richter scale was felt in  Plovdiv and Asenovgrad, the correspondent of BGNES reported. The epicenter of the earthquake is 2 km north-east of Asenovgrad, 17 km southeast of Plovdiv with a depth of 10 km.

Some citizens who are closer to the epicenter in Asenovgrad and the surrounding area report that they have experienced intense and prolonged shaking.

A 2.1 Earthquake on the Richter Scale was Registered in Plovdiv

A 2.1  earthquake on the Richter scale was registered on the territory of Bulgaria, near Plovdiv, BGNES reported.

The earthquake occurred at 8:16 am this morning with an epicenter in the city of Plovdiv, with a depth of 20 km, the Geophysical Institute of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences said. There is no evidence of material damage

A Temperature Record in Targovishte

18.8 degrees Celsius was the temperature measured in the early afternoon in Targovishte. According to the head of the local Meteorological Station Krasimira Stoicheva, due to the calm weather, the expectations are that by the end of the day the temperature will increase by a few more tenths.

This will improve the temperature record of 2016, when 18.8 degrees were also measured.
