Leading academics, business leaders, journalists and public officials gathered at the Megaron Karatzas in Athens on Saturday to set out their vision for how the "Komvos - Networks of Global Hellenism" initiative can harness the extensive international networks of the Greek diaspora to manifestly contribute to the prosperity of Greece.

Council of Bars & Law Societies of Europe to hold two-day conference in Athens

The Council of Bars & Law Societies of Europe (CCBE) will convene in a two-day conference on November 22-24 at Zappeion Megaron in Athens.

CCBE brings together the bars and law societies of 46 countries from the European Union, the European Economic Area, and broader Europe.

Israeli choreographer Noa Wertheim and her Vertigo ensemble perform at the Kalamata International Dance Festival on Tuesday, July 18, at the city's Dance Megaron. The performance, "Yama" (Pond), was inspired by the movement of water, and addresses the limitations of human relationships and the way we handle adversity.

Festival of the Aegean | Syros | July 14 & 15

The International Festival of Aegean sets the mood before its launch on Sunday, July 16, with some pre-festival events. On Friday, the island's capital, Ermoupoli, welcomes three American choirs from Berkley, Pocatello and San Antonio at the Church of Virgin Mary at 9 p.m. The following day, there will be a big Broadway Parade featuring music from American musicals, starting at 8 p.m.

European Maritime Day 2015 - Conference call

A conference on European Maritime Day 2015 is taking place at the Athens Music Hall (Megaron Mousikis) on May 28, 2015. The event, planned in the framework of the Enterprise Europe Network-Hellas, is aimed at promoting cooperation and allowing participants from Europe to present their products and services and find the right partners.
