Bulgaria Is Second Favorite Destination Among Russians
Bulgaria only lags behind Spain as Russians' choice to spend their holiday, a Russian survey says.
"Europe was less popular in 2014 if compared to Turkey and Egypt. The drop in demand was registered as early as in spring. This was why tourist operators optimized the summer program, trying to conform it to the real tourist demand," the operator TUI Russia's website informed Thursday.
Romania, Bulgaria Mull Two New Danube Bridges
Romania on Tuesday approved the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with Bulgaria to carry out feasibility studies on the construction of two new bridges over the Danube.
The bridges will connect Nikopol in Bulgaria with Turnu Magurele in Romania, and Silistra in Bulgaria with Calarasi in Romania.

According to the Global States Of Mind Gallup survey, 87% of Bulgarians disapprove of their leadership. This ranks the country second in the world after Bosnia and Herzegovina, where only 8% of the population approves the leadership.
