Greek online shopping platform Skroutz has obtained a temporary injunction in an Athens court against Meta Platforms over the misuse of its trademark and logo in bogus advertisements on its Facebook and Instagram sites.
Meta: $1 million donation to Donald Trump’s inauguration fund
Meta, owned by Mark Zuckerberg, donated $1 million to a fund supporting events for Donald Trump’s inauguration.
According to the Financial Times, this marks the first time Zuckerberg has made such a donation. In the past, Donald Trump had accused the company’s platforms of censoring right-wing voices and even threatened Zuckerberg with imprisonment.

Messaging apps have frozen, with pages either failing to load or users unable to post updates.
Specifically, more than 42,000 Instagram users report issues with viewing posts.

Australia moves to ban children under 16 from social media
Australia's prime minister on Nov. 7 vowed to ban children under 16 from social media, saying the pervasive influence of platforms like Facebook and TikTok was "doing real harm to our kids."
The tech giants would be held responsible for enforcing the age limit and face hefty fines if regulators notice young users slipping through the cracks, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said.
