By means of piano, electronic manipulation and sound design, Othon and artistic partner Owen Pratt express the inner journey of meditation via his signature electronic minimalism.

Cyprus Missing | Athens | June 5-8
The Michael Cacoyannis Foundation is hosting an exhibition from June 5 to 8 on the long search for hundreds of people who went missing in Cyprus during Turkey's invasion of the island's north in 1974. "In the Shadow of Their Absence," which opens at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, comprises photographs of victims, their families and search efforts.

Zorba the Greek | Athens | January 10 - March 31
Popular writing duo Thanasis Papathanasiou and Michalis Reppas have adapted Nikos Kazantzakis's emblematic novel "Zorba the Greek" for the stage in a Greek production directed by veteran Stamatis Fassoulis and starring Grigoris Valtinos in the title role.

Light in Black | Athens | To December 4
Twelve acclaimed Greek artists have drawn inspiration from the works of eminent Greek poets published in a collection by Porfyra for the exhibition "Light in Black," on display at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation through December 4. In the show, they present rays of light, or hope, in otherwise melancholy works. The inauguration takes place on Tuesday, November 28, at 7 p.m.

Life Art Media Festival | Athens | July 10-12
The LifeArt Global Media Festival 2017 is an initiative inspired by the vision of the late filmmaker Michael Cacoyannis, and starts on Monday, July 10, with the screening of a spectacular National Geographic documentary on climate change. "Before the Flood" is directed by Leonardo DiCaprio and Fisher Stevens and produced by Martin Scorsese.
