Police station in northern Athens comes under hail of Molotovs
Around 10 hooded assailants launched an attack with Molotov cocktails against a police department in Pefki, northern Athens early Thursday morning.
According to police, the perpetrators threw five firebombs at the department located on Konitsis Street and that three cars, including two police vehicles, parked outside, caught fire.

Police attacked with Molotov cocktails in Exarchia
Riot police units stationed in Athens's Exarchia district were attacked by unknown assailants with Molotov cocktails in the early hours of Friday, authorities said.
The incident occurred shortly after 3 a.m. outside the offices of PASOK on Harilaou Trikoupi Street.
No one was injured in the attack.
One person was briefly detained, questioned and released.

Serbians hand in 350 illegal weapons in ongoing campaign
Serbian citizens have another month to legalize the weapons they possess illegally.
Since the beginning of June, 350 pieces of weapons, 100 hand grenades and explosive devices have been handed in, along with about 25,000 pieces of various types of ammunition.
Hand Grenade Found in Sofia's Mladost 2 Residential Deistict
A hand grenade was found in the lawn in front of a supermarket in Sofia's Mladost 2 residential district, reported Standart News.
The area was immediately cordoned off by a patrol of the local police department and an anti-bomb squad was called in.
The sapper seized the grenade but did not find any other explosive devices in the area.
U.S. launches unarmed ICBM from California, 4th such test this year
The U.S. Air Force successfully launched an unarmed intercontinental ballistic missile from California, the fourth such test this year.
The 30th Space Wing says the Minuteman 3 missile launched at 2:10 a.m. local time Wednesday from Vandenberg Air Force Base, about 130 miles northwest of Los Angeles.
State minister's house attacked, again
Crime scene officers collect evidence around a scorched police SUV outside the home of State Minister Alekos Flambouraris in downtown Athens on Saturday. Police said around 15 hooded men attacked the security detail outside the minister's house in the Exarchia district at 12.40 p.m., pelting officers with Molotov cocktails, which set fire to the vehicle. No injuries were reported.
