"Wave of job cuts in public enterprises planned for 2017"
Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government Ana Brnabic on Tuesday announced for 2017 a wave of job cuts in public enterprises.
The now have around 147,000 employees.
"Serbia must catch up with Europe in IT sector"
Serbia must catch up with Europe in the innovation and the IT sectors, Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government Ana Brnabic said Thursday,
The government was ready to work on this, with support from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia and startups, she added.

"Ministry of Finance still wants to hire more people"
Kori Udovicki has said that she encountered "the biggest problem with the Ministry of Finance, that is looking to hire more people."
Udovicki is one of deputy prime ministers in the Serbian government, also in charge of the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government.
"9,000 public administration employees are surplus"
It has been established that the Serbian public administration has a surplus of around 9,000 employees, Kori Udovicki said on Monday.
The minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government added that they should "leave" by the end of this year.

Public administration minister meets with German delegation
BELGRADE - Serbia's Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government Kori Udovicki has met with a delegation from Germany, led by Christiane Bogemann-Hagedorn of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, to discuss ways to improve cooperation between the two countries.
