Kyriakos Pierrakakis at the Patriarchate of Alexandria – The signing of memoranda of understanding

 

The Grand Cross of Saint Mark was presented to the Minister of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports by Patriarch Theodore II of Alexandria and All Africa during the former’s visit to the Patriarchate of Alexandria. Kyriakos Pierrakakis signed two memoranda of understanding with the Patriarch.

Greece to introduce economic literacy course in high schools, minister says

Minister of Education Kyriakos Pierrakakis announced on Thursday the decision to introduce a course on basic economic concepts in the first year of high school, starting in 2025.

According to Pierrakakis, the decision aims to combat economic illiteracy among young people.

Minister of Citizen Protection Notis Mitarakis has resigned for "personal reasons."

A government briefing confirmed that Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis had accepted his resignation.
