N. Voutsis: First government reaction, pleased with referendum

Voutsis calls in opposition parties to support referendum
The Greek interior minister called on all political parties to back his government's decision to hold a referendum on bailout terms offered by the country's foreign creditors for a cash-for-reforms deal that would stave off a looming default.
Voutsis: IMF will not receive tranche on June 5th
Minister of the Interior Nikos Voutsis told Mega channel on Sunday morning that the IMF will not be paid on the 5th of June. Mr. Voutsis underlined that the target is a deal by the end of June and added that “we will not accept the blackmail that wishes for liquidity with a memorandum or bankruptcy”.

Friends and family members of jailed terrorist suspects and convicts currently on hunger strike, staged a protest outside Greek Parliament on Syntagma Square on Thursday. Raising a banner in front of the monument of the Unknown Soldier, a popular tourist spot, the protesters called for ?victory? for the prisoners.
