BELGRADE - Serbian Deputy PM and Defence Minister Milos Vucevic met with UN Under-Secretary-General for Peace Operations Jean-Pierre Lacroix and UNSG Special Representative and UNMIK Head Caroline Ziadeh on Tuesday.

A 70-strong contingent of the Serbian Army (VS), including 25 women, was on Monday seen off to a UN peacekeeping mission.

The Serbian soldiers will join UN's mission in the Central African Republic, MINUSCA.

A civilian member of the troubled United Nations peacekeeping mission in the Central African Republic has been accused of sexual misconduct, taking the total number of such cases to 17, UN officials said on Sept.15.

UN peacekeepers in the Central African Republic face allegations of sexual abuse in 13 cases, including nine that involve underage victims as young as 11, an official said on Aug. 20.
