BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Sunday evening a comprehensive agreement on a Serbia-UAE economic partnership he had signed with UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan at the weekend was enormously important for Serbia and its people.

The promotion of cooperation in the fields of energy and infrastructure and regional developments were among the issues that were discussed during the meeting held on Wednesday afternoon between President of the Republic of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides and President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al Nahyan.

DUBAI - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan during the COP28 climate summit in Dubai on Friday and noted that Serbia was a small country, but that it knew how to appreciate its great friends.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has used the global platform of the COP28 summit in the United Arab Emirates to urge for peace in between Israel and Palestine, expressing Türkiye's readiness to this end.

"We had important meetings. I spoke with Charles Michel and with the presidents of Hungary, Poland, Belarus, as well as with people from the IMF," Vui said, adding that all the conversations were of special importance for Serbia.
"In order to solve all the problems, there must be order in international relations," he added.
