Fidan to attend Iran’s new president’s inauguration ceremony
Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will visit Tehran on Tuesday to participate in the inauguration ceremony of Iran's President-elect Masoud Pezeshkian.
"Our Minister will visit Tehran on July 30, 2024, to attend the inauguration ceremony of Iran's President-elect Masoud Pezeshkian," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Monday.

Iran to name first woman ambassador since 1979: media
Iran is to appoint a woman ambassador for the first time since its 1979 Islamic Revolution, according to unconfirmed media reports April 15.
The reports said foreign ministry spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham would be named ambassador to an Asian country.
