Trump: Days are numbered for ISIL
U.S. President Donald Trump hailed Iraq's "victory" over Islamic State of Iraq and tLevant (ISIL) in Mosul on July 10, sayinhg that the northern city's liberation showed the war against the jihadis was being won.
"The victory in Mosul" signals ISIL's "days in Iraq and Syria are numbered," Trump said in a statement praising Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi.

Iraqi PM declares victory in 'liberated' Mosul
Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi announced on July 9 "victory" over Islamic State Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) in the city of Mosul, his office said.
"The commander in chief of the armed forces (Prime Minister) Haider al-Abadi arrived in the liberated city of Mosul and congratulated the heroic fighters and the Iraqi people for the great victory," said a statement from his office.
