Mound

Believed to have hosted one of the earliest settlements of the western province of Aydın, Deştepe Mound is waiting to come to the surface as it is positioned among the buildings rising around it in the Kemer neighborhood of the Efeler district.

Excavations in the Domuztepe Mound in the southern province of Kahramanmaraş, considered to be the biggest settlement in the era since the usage of the term "Near East," have unearthed vessels depicting "tree of life" motifs.

The mound is located close to the Kelibişler neighborhood in the Pazarcık district.

Wall paintings of animal and human shapes, as well as geometric designs, have been found by researchers at the Dumlupınar University Archaeology Department in the 5,000-year-old Seyitömer burial mound
