Kosovo Woman Aims to Climb All 14 Himalayan Peaks
After scaling the two highest peaks in the Himalayas, Everest and Manasulu, Kosovo alpinist Uta Ibrahimi said on Monday that she intends to climb the rest of the mountains in the range by 2023.
"My plan is to climb two peaks a year for the next six years," Ibrahimi told a press conference in Pristina.

Floods Took Away Hundreds of Lives in Nepal and India
At least 143 people have died after monsoon rains have caused floods in India and Nepal, Darik reported. This was reported by the authorities in both countries, warning that the number of deaths may increase as the full scale of the disaster is still unclear.
Bulgarian Dies in Khan Tengri Fall (Update)
The Bulgarian who died on Mount Han Tengri in Tian Shan Mountain, on the border between China, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, was Ivan Todorov, an employee of the Bulgarian National Television (BNT).
The incident happened on 8 August around 00:20. Upon descent from the top, at an altitude of 6,200 meters, Ivan fell though 600 meters onto rocks and died.

Boyan Petrov will Attempt to Conquer his Tenth Peak over 8000m in August
Climber Boyan Petrov will travel on August 20 for an expedition to his tenth peak over 8000m - Dawlaguri (8167m), he told the Bulgarian National Television.
Three days later, the ascent of the eighth highest peak in the world should begin. More recently, on July 22, Petrov managed to climb Garseburm II.
Meet the first Greek woman who set foot on Alaskan peak (photos)
Christina Flamboura (member of the Hellenic Mountaineering Association of Acharnes) and Vanessa Archontidou (member of the Athens Mountaineering Clubs) became the first Greek women to set foot on the highest peak of Mount Denali in Alaska.
“The mountain does not want strength, it wants soul,” Christina Flamboura told Athens News Agency (AMNA).
Greek team conquers Mnt Everest!
The Greek is flying at the highest peak in the world after a Greek mountain climbing mission reached the top of Mount Everest at 8,848 metres. The Greek team led by Antonis Sykaris, one of the most experienced mountaineers and the co-founder and CEO of Athens Mountain Climbing Association, Mike Efremidis completed their climb on May 22 after successfully going up the final leg.
