The US Space Agency (NASA) has announced a panoramic video from Mars, made on the red planet by Curiosity, the agency said on its official site.

Nasa's Curiosity rover, also known as the Mars Science Laboratory (MSL), is celebrating 2,000 martian days (sols) investigating Gale Crater on the Red Planet. In that time, the robot has made some remarkable observations.

Curiosity Mars rover is currently exploring Gale crater on Mars, since 2012. The NASA space vehicle recently sent over some amazingly beautiful pictures of a “blue sunset” from the planet.

The photos were received on the 15th of April and depict the sun being lost over the horizon of the red planet.

A mountain on Mars may have built up over time from lake sediments, according to NASA scientists who have been studying observations from the Curiosity rover scouring the Red Planet.
      
The latest analysis is based on rocks discovered at the lower edges of Mount Sharp, which is located, rather oddly, in the midst of a crater on Earth's neighboring planet.
