US Reaches Plea Deal with 9/11 Mastermind, Seeks Death Penalty

The United States has reached a plea agreement with Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the alleged mastermind behind the 9/11 attacks, and two other defendants, the US Department of Defense announced on Wednesday. Mohammed, also known as KSM, was apprehended in Pakistan in 2003 for his alleged role in the terrorist attacks.

US Quran exhibit visitors view display with hope

Some of the first visitors at a newly opened Quran exhibition on Oct. 22 said they hoped the display would help overcome prejudice and spread awareness about Islam.      

"This exhibit will really help bring people together and it represents how much Islam has to offer American culture," said Doug Kempner, a 26-year-old from Washington D.C.

BBC claims to have identified third bomber of Paris attacks

Police in France issued another appeal to identify one of the Paris attackers, who is believed to have helped in completing the bombing at the Stade de France by posting a photo of the man on Twitter, asking the public to provide any information that could help identify him.

He was among the three people who died in the attacks outside the national stadium.
