As the president of Turkey's Guide Dog Association, I often need to travel locally and internationally to promote our work. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to visit these places and connect to the people who live there. As a visually impaired traveler, visiting an unfamiliar place can cause me some anxiety if it does not have the facilities to accommodate me.

The decision, which drew praise and surprise online, quickly overshadowed other arts winners, including Andrew Sean Greer's win in the fiction category.
Rita Ora confirms performing in Kosovo
Kosovo-born British singer Rita Ora has finally confirmed that she will hold a big concert in Pristina on 17 February.
She rose to prominence in February 2012 when she featured on DJ Fresh's single "Hot Right Now", which reached number one in the UK.

Eminem Wins Damages in New Zealand Copyright Case
A New Zealand political party has been ordered to pay NZ$600,000 ($412,000) in compensation in a breach of copyright suit filed by US rapper Eminem, reported BBC.
The National Party used a track with a similar melody and rhythm to Eminem's Lose Yourself in an election advert.

Honeymoon completed
No I'm not remarried, but this piece is about my recent honeymoon experience. Though I did this marriage thing twice, I never had a real honeymoon before. If honeymoon is a continuation of a wedding, I never had a wedding as well. The last one that was supposed to be a honeymoon ended in a disaster; actually it was an awkward one with our newly born baby in Bali.

Rapper Kendrick Lamar dominated the MTV Video Music Awards on ay as the glitzy gala took a political turn with impassioned denunciations of white supremacists in America.
Lamar won the most prestigious award of Video of the Year for "HUMBLE.," his ironic look at his growing fame in which he dresses up as everything from the pope to Jesus in "The Last Supper."

Fans who were bummed out at the cancellation of Day 3 of the Release Athens Festival due to Jamiroquai frontman Jay Kay's health problems, which also meant that a scheduled appearance by Michael Kiwanuka did not go ahead will be pleased to hear that the British soul singer will be coming to Greece after all, appearing at Thessaloniki's Fix Factory of Sound on September 29 and Athens's Gazi Musi
