Germany to loan back 23 looted museum pieces to Namibia
A Berlin museum will tomorrow send 23 ancient pieces of jewelry, tools and objects back to Namibia, a former German colony, on indefinite loan as part of a project to encourage rapprochement between the two nations.
The artifacts will be handed over to the National Museum of Namibia and made available to local artists and academics for research, Berlin's Ethnological Museum said.

Nandi-Ndaitwah backs dialogue on Kosovo
BELGRADE - Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic on Thursday received Namibian Deputy PM and FM Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, who said her country would continue to back a peaceful resolution of the Kosovo issue through dialogue.
Nikolic noted the friendship between Serbia and Namibia should be strengthened further through cooperation in other areas, in particular in the economy.

Female Turkish diplomats driving Africa policy
Female Turkish ambassadors are driving policy in a number of African nations, including Mozambique, the Ivory Coast, Namibia and Uganda.
Aylin Ta?han was appointed as Turkey's ambassador to Mozambique in 2011, making her the first female Turkish ambassador to an African country.
