ArteVisione Gallery (5 Piliou) presents the group art exhibition "Art as Experience: Exploring the Stories Behind the Works," curated by art historian and journalist Nikolena Kalaitzaki-Zouni. The exhibition delves into the personal narratives behind each piece, reflecting the artist's life experiences.

In a 2024 film series at the Goethe Institute in Athens (14-16 Omirou), Greek and German short and feature-length films blend, exploring diverse perspectives on the shared historical past. Micro-narratives, subdued testimonies, mythological exercises and archival puzzles dissolve the myth of a singular historical narrative.

A newly opened exhibition called "Towards the City" at Istanbul's newest culture and arts center, the historical Hasanpaşa Gazhanesi (gashouse), is centered around the issues of urbanization, urban and rural transformation and ecology.

Some words seem to grow in usage all of a sudden, like weeds, even in intellectual fields where they have no business. "Narrative" is one such word. Regardless of its meaning, what matters in its prevalence in public discourse now is the style and quality that its users believe it lends their proclamations.

Karakutu (Black Box) is a recent initiative hoping to foster alternative narratives, offer ways of remembering and introduce different perspectives about the past to society, especially to young people.

The book tour will starts on October 15th at the London School of Economics, LSE, with a conversation between Lubonja and his translator, and later move to other cities including the Welsh capital, Cardiff, ending at the Ilkey Literature Festival.
