Thanasis Antetokounmpo ready to sign contract with Panathinaikos
Thanasis Antekounmpo might be wearing the green jersey of Greek basketball champions Panathinaikos in the new season. According to a tweet posted by Israeli journalist David Pick, the brother of the “Greek freak” is reportedly ready to sign a 2-year contract worth $700,000.
NBA's 76ers sign Turkish forward Furkan Korkmaz
Turkish forward Furkan Korkmaz has signed a contract with the Philadelphia 76ers, completing a "dream move" for the 19-year-old player.
"We are happy to have Furkan Korkmaz join us in Philadelphia this year where we feel he will be best positioned to develop physically and acclimate to the NBA game," Sixers president of basketball operations Bryan Colangelo said in a statement.

NBA Champions refuse to visit White House
Less than 24 hours after winning the 2017 NBA Finals on Monday night, the Golden State Warriors unanimously voted to decline the expected White House invitation, according to several reports including one by CNBC analyst Josh Brown.
“We have not received an invitation to the White House, but will make those decisions when and if necessary,” the Warriors said in a statement Tuesday.

PAO defeat Olympiakos (66-51) to win title
In a match marred by the temporary interruption 1.56′ before the end when a flare struck the visitors bench, Panathinaikos defeated Olympiakos (66-51) and are celebrating their 35th league title. Panathinaikos won the best of five series after breaking the home advantage in the fifth and final game. The greens dominated in the second and third quarter building a 20-point lead.
