Cyprus sees inflation slow down
Inflation in Cyprus slowed down in August 2024, with prices rising by 1.5%, compared to a 2.11% increase in July, data showed on Thursday. The Consumer Price Index (CPI), which measures the cost of living, went up slightly from 117.73 to 118.10.

Inflation in Greece eases to 4.6% in March
The rate of increase in inflation slowed further to 4.6% in March this year, from 6.1% in February, as a result of lower energy prices, and compared to an increase of 8.9% in March 2022, according to the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) on Monday.

The Monthly Inflation in December 2019 was 0.7%
The consumer price index in December 2019 compared to November 2019 was 100.7%, i.e. the monthly inflation was 0.7%. The annual inflation in December 2019 compared to December 2018 was 3.8%, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said in a press release.
The annual average inflation for January - December 2019 compared to the previous 12 months (January - December 2018) was 3.1%.

The Statistical Office (RZS) data for February shows that prices of products and services increased by 0.7 percent on average compared to January.
Year-on-year, consumer prices in February 2017 increased by 3.2 percent, while compared to December 2016, the figure was 2.2 percent, the Serbian government has announced.
