Berlin forum set to boost German-Greek cooperation

Greece expects to receive confirmation of interest in investments from German companies and  the German government with the announcement of business deals at Monday's Greek-German Business Forum in Berlin, where Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and German Chancellor Angela Merkel are keynote speakers.

Testifying on Friday in the probe into the alleged bribery scandal implicating Swiss pharmaceutical company Novartis and Greek politicians and doctors, deputy prosecutor Ioannis Angelis alleged that there was an organized plan to jail three politicians, including former prime minister Antonis Samaras, on the eve of national elections last year.
