Naval mine found off Halkidiki
A fisherman located a naval mine dating to World War II off the coast of Nea Moudania in Halkidiki, northern Greece, reports said over the weekend.
The mine was found on Thursday at a depth of around 5 meters some 350 meters from shore, according to local reports.

Energy Ministry boosts inspections in mines
Turkey's Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources stopped the activities of 1,780 mines since August 2017 as it has increased inspections of the mines with a new model, which is adopted in August, the Ministry announced on Nov. 18.

A Specialized Team in Burgas Destroyed the Naval Mine Near the 'Coral' Beach
A specialized team in Burgas yesterday destroyed the naval mine which was found near the Coral beach in Tsarevo, the Ministry of Defense announced, quoted by BGNES.
The actions of the team were lead by Captain lll rank Krasimir Ivanov.
The naval mine is from type ''mining defender'' and was about 30 meters away from the coastline.
