Restrictions on diving tourism lifted
A bill aimed at promoting specialized forms of tourism in Greece, including diving, was voted through Parliament late on Friday.
Diving is now allowed across Greece, with no depth limits, with some exceptions including areas where the armed forces conduct exercises.

Diver found dead off island of Mykonos
Members of the Hellenic Navy's Underwater Demolitions Unit were on Tuesday attempting to retrieve the body of a 43-year-old diver who was discovered by other divers off the Platys Gialos beach on the island of Mykonos.
The 43-year-old had been a member of the crew of the British-flagged Sea Dragon vessel which had been doing dives in the area.

Body of second diver recovered off Karpathos
Divers of the Greek coast guard's Underwater Missions Team on Monday recovered the body of a second diver who went missing off Karpathos over the weekend.
On Sunday, authorities said that two foreign nationals,.aged 60 and 30, had been found dead in an underwater cave off the island in the southeastern Aegean.

Military divers from five countries to train in Eurasian Partnership MCM Dive 19 multinational exercise
More than 90 military divers from five NATO or Partnership for Peace (PfP) member countries will participate in the 10th edition of the Eurasian Partnership MCM Dive 19 taking place July 22 - 26 in Romania's Black Sea territorial waters, the Navy General Staff (SMFN) informs in a release.
Spear fisherman dies in speedboat accident
The operator of a speedboat involved in a fatal collision with 44-year-old spear fisherman off the coast of Salamina on Sunday has been arrested and is expected to appear before prosecutors.
According to the coast guard, the diver was stuck by a speedboat operated by a 61-year-old. The diver was removed to a local health centre, where he was pronounced dead.
