A wildfire broke out near a residential area in Nea Artaki, central Evia, on Tuesday afternoon alerting the 112 emergency number for evacuation.

A 34-year-old man was arrested in the act of robbing a bank in Nea Artaki, on Evia, on Thursday. The suspect was detained by police officers as he exited the bank carrying the sum of 306,000 euros.

According to initial reports, the alleged robber entered the bank wearing a mask, a cap and a pair of sunglasses and threatened staffers and a female client with a gun.
