Bild provokes again

German tabloid Bild continued its own personal form of "Operation Marita" this week by aiming to "punish" German MPs who voted in favor of the Greek loan agreement extension on Friday in the Bundestag.

Specifically, in a three-page layout the headline ran: "542 Ja and 32 Nein -  that's how your MPs voted ? and tons of money continues to flow to Greece".

Germans react to Bild’s snide ‘Der Angriff’ campaign against Greece

The German Journalists Association (Verband der Journalisten der DDR, abbreviated VDJ)  and many an Internet users are in uproar against German tabloid Bild’s unprovoked anti-Greek campaign.

Bild asked its readers to take selfies saying “Nein” to a request of extending the loan agreement, a day before it is voted on by the Bundestag, and to send the photos through an e-mail.
