Exclusive event at the Museum of Cycladic Art in New York with VIP guests, collectors, and the Empeirikos & Niarchos families
It is an event held every two years to raise money for the museum’s causes. This year there was an extra reason as businessman and art lover Leonard Stern donated 162 Cycladic pieces from his personal collection to the Museum of Cycladic Art and the Greek state.

The Museum of Cycladic Art (4 Neofitou Douka) is organizing a Cycladic Late Night on June 27 from 7 p.m. to midnight. Visitors will have the chance to visit the exhibition "Cindy Sherman at Cycladic: Early Works" outside regular museum hours while enjoying live music performances. Tickets cost 7 euros at cycladic.gr.

Intangible cultural heritage at focus of Athens show
The Museum of Cycladic Art in Athens has unveiled the last of a three-part exhibition titled "ReThinking," which focuses on social issues that remain as pertinent today as they were in ancient times. The new section on 'Craftsmanship comes after those on "Identities" and "Conflicts," and seeks to showcase intangible cultural heritage.
Museum initiative aims to help maintain Cycladic traditions
The Museum of Cycladic Art has launched Cycladic Identity, an initiative to preserve and highlight the character of Greece's famous island cluster and attract donations and sponsorships, with which it will support organizations active in the islands with programs related to culture, biodiversity and intangible cultural heritage.
