Russia Warns UK it is 'Playing with Fire and will be Sorry' Over Salisbury Spy Poisoning

Russia's ambassador to the United Nations has warned British officials they are "playing with fire" and will be "sorry" over their response to the poisoning of a former double agent and his daughter in Salisbury, Independent reported.

Yulia Skripal was poisoned with a nerve agent just days after gaining access to a £150,000 'secret bank account' with proceeds from a house sale in Britain, it has emerged.

The money had belonged to her brother Alexander who died in mysterious circumstances in St Petersburg last year.

Syria attack symptoms consistent with nerve agent use: WHO

Victims of a suspected chemical attack in Syria appeared to show symptoms consistent with reaction to a nerve agent, the World Health Organization said on April 5. 

"Some cases appear to show additional signs consistent with exposure to organophosphorus chemicals, a category of chemicals that includes nerve agents," WHO said in a statement, putting the death toll at at least 70.
