US jets carry out airstrike in northeast Syria
U.S. warplanes carried out at least one airstrike in Syria's northeast Hasakah region after an incident at a checkpoint where U.S. soldiers killed one regime soldier, Turkey's state-run Anadolu Agency reported on Feb. 12.
Anadolu Agency said that U.S. warplanes hit two of the Syrian regime's military bases in Hasakah.

US says Syrian oil revenues going to YPG/PKK-led SDF
Revenues from northeastern Syria's oil fields will be directed to the YPG/PKK-led SDF, the U.S. said on Nov. 7.
Syrian Kurdish Forces Have Regained Control of the City of Ras al-Ain
Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have regained control of a key border town in northeastern Syria, according to the DPA, citing the UK-based Syrian Human Rights Monitoring Center.
According to information from the centre, SDF fighters seized the city of Ras al-Ain from Turkish forces and their allies, who entered the city two days ago.
Trump says he hopes YPG abandons fighting Turkey
U.S. President Donald Trump said on Oct. 12 he hoped the YPG, the Syrian offshoot of the illegal PKK, would "back up" fighting the Turkish military in northeastern Syria.
