Listed Mytilineos Group on Thursday reported a 42.7 percent leap in turnover in the first nine months of 2019 year-on-year, continuing the excellent performance seen in the first half over the summer.

Frigoglass posts double-digit growth
Freezer and glass bottle and jar manufacturer Frigoglass saw its sales rise 14.2 percent in the second quarter of 2019, to 162.69 million, up from 142.44 million in the same period in 2018.
The growth allowed it to get into the black, with a net profit of 8.77 million, compared to an 836,000-euro loss in the same period last year.

Mytilineos sees turnover, profits jump in Q1
Blue-chip company Mytilineos posted significant growth in both turnover and profitability in the first quarter of 2019, according to data released on Friday.
On a consolidated basis, turnover amounted to 513.9 million euros, compared with 360.7 million euros in the same quarter last year, resulting in an increase of 42.5 percent.

Frigoglass sales jump 21.8 pct in H1 2018
Frigoglass said on Monday its sales increased 21.8 percent to 248.113 million euros in the first half of 2018, from 203.775 million in the same period last year.

OPAP's core earnings drop in fourth quarter
Greece's OPAP, Europe's fourth-biggest betting firm, on Wednesday posted a 19.2 percent drop in fourth-quarter core profit, hurt by an austerity tax.
OPAP, which was fully privatized in 2013, currently offers sports betting and lotteries through a network of about 5,750 outlets in Greece and Cyprus.

State-owned thermal power plant Maritsa Iztok 2 closed the first half of 2015 at a net loss of BGN 28.634 M, compared to a profit of BGN 1.440 M for H1, 2014, according to a report of the company.
Yahoo quarterly profit slides but revenue up
Yahoo reported April 21 a 93 percent slide in quarterly profit from a year ago, while revenues rose modestly in disappointing quarterly results for the struggling Internet pioneer.
Net profit for the first quarter tumbled to $21.1 million from $312 million in the same period last year, amid what chief executive Marissa Mayer called "encouraging revenue growth" of eight percent.

Kathimerini swings from loss to profit in 2014
