Tsipras to meet party leaders on name issue amid tension
Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras is to meet on Saturday with the leaders of the main opposition parties to inform them about the discussions with the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) over the name issue, although there is growing tension within his own coalition about the matter.
PASOK chief demands political leaders' meeting on name talks
The head of PASOK reached out by telephone to Alexis Tsipras on Friday to demand that the prime minister convene a meeting of political leader to discuss progress in name talks with the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM).
Fofi Gennimata has accused the leftist-led government of pursuing "secret diplomacy" in its talks with Skopje and of "dividing the Greek people."

Name of center-left grouping to be Movement for Change
The name of the new center-left party comprising PASOK, To Potami and other social democratic forces will be Movement for Change, it emerged on Tuesday following a meeting in Parliament between PASOK leader Fofi Gennimata and the head of Potami, Stavros Theodorakis.
The name will be in use until the grouping's first congress, when it is expected that it will be rubber-stamped.
Candidates for new party to hold televised debate on Monday
Candidate leaders for a new center-left party that is set to be launched this year will be holding their first television debate on Monday night, amid speculation over the party's makeup and platform.
Kaminis to remain mayor if he is voted party leader
Giorgos Kaminis said Wednesday he will stay on as Athens mayor even if he is elected leader of Greece's new center-left party in November.
"If I am elected head of the center-left [party] I will not leave the Athens municipality as I was elected for a specific tenure and my political identity was known," Kaminis told Skai on Wednesday.
Tsipras to brief opposition leaders on Eurogroup deal, Cyprus talks
Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras is to hold a series talks with the leaders of Greek opposition parties to brief them on last week's Eurogroup deal and developments with Cyprus talks.
According to a statement issued by his office, Tsipras is to meet on Monday afternoon with Potami leader Stavros Theodorakis followed by the head of Union of Centrists Vassilis Leventis.
Greek PM Tsipras to start round of talks with opposition parties
Greek PM Alexis Tsipras is scheduled to brief the leaders of the Greek political parries on Monday and Tuesday on the results of the June 15 EuroGroup meeting. Mr. Tsipras is expected to meet today at 6pm with the leader of “Potami” party Stavros Theodorakis, while at 7pm he will see the president of the centrist party “Union of Centrists”, Vassilis Leventis.
