Ukrainian prosecutors have announced the arrest of Oleksandr Kheil, one of the country's four deputy ministers of energy, along with several others, for accepting a 500,000 dollars bribe. The detentions were made in connection with a scheme involving the illegal removal of mining equipment from a state-owned coal mining enterprise in the war-torn Donetsk region of Ukraine.

A Russian Il-76 military transport plane has crashed in the Ivanovo region, northeast of Moscow, today. The aircraft, carrying 15 individuals, met with a fatal accident, as reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense and confirmed by Reuters.

As the Baza channel reports, the UAZ Patriot vehicle carrying the FSB intelligence officer was attacked around 4:00 p.m. local time on the outskirts of the village.
Unknown assailants reportedly opened fire on the vehicle with a machine gun before fleeing the area.

The Russians fired rockets at the city of Kryvyi Rih in the south of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs announced. Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko announced that two rockets hit residential buildings.
"One rocket hit a four-story educational institution. There are probably people under the rubble. Rescuers and police are working," he said on Telegram.

The news of his death appeared a few days ago, when it was also stated that he died in the occupied city of Berdyansk.
