A US military aid offer could help Bosnia replace two ageing Russian helicopters, if only the country could agree on a vision for the future of its armed forces.

The armed forces? internal affairs department has found evidence of wrongdoing in two military procurement cases and the government will forward this to the judiciary, Defense Minister Panos Kammenos said Tuesday after meeting with Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras.

Alternate Defense Minister Costas Isichos said on Friday that the government would launch investigations into numerous procurement deals, including the purchase of NH-90 helicopters in 2003, when PASOK was in power and Yiannos Papantoniou was defense minister.
