‘End this war’ the main message conveyed from charity match hosted by Olympiacos against Ukraine’s Shakhtar Donetsk

Russian envoy summoned to foreign ministry after 10 ethnic Greeks killed in Russian bombings

Russian ambassador to Athens Andrey Maslov has been summoned to the Greek foreign ministry tomorrow after the killing of 10 ethnic Greeks and the injury of six more in Russian bombings in Eastern Ukraine.

Six were killed in the village of Santana and four others in the village of Bugas.

Ukraine: Extraordinary meeting of Government National Security Council

The Government National Security Council (KYSEA) will meet extraordinarily at 10:30 in the morning.

As it became known, KYSEA is meeting under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, with the participation of the Minister of Environment and Energy, Costas Skrekas.

In the meantime, Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias is returning to Athens on an emergency basis.

Turkey says Greece's statements on ties 'contradicting'

The Turkish Foreign Ministry said early on Nov. 21 that Greece was holding a provocative and adversarial attitude toward Turkey while talking about dialogue.

Spokesman Tanju Bilgiç said in a statement that Greece was not able to stomach the crucial role Turkey plays in its region and the immediate surroundings in the context of ensuring peace and stability.

Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias will meet tomorrow in London with British Foreign Secretary Elizabeth Truss for talks and to sign a bilateral agreement on a series of areas of cooperation that he said will deepen Greece-UK ties.

It will include collaboration on defence and security issues.
