In a special promotional campaign offering visas for "digital nomads," the Turkish Culture and Tourism Ministry has extended an invitation to foreign remote workers to ply their trade in Türkiye, spotlighting Istanbul and the Mediterranean district of Dalaman as prime locations of interest.

Turkish nomads embark on winter migration
The last nomadic community in Türkiye, the Sarıkeçili Yörüks, who spend the summer months in the region known as the "summer pasture" in the Central Anatolia Region, have embarked on a journey with their camels to reach their winter homes after a six-month stay in Konya.

Local man collects items belonging to nomadic culture
A local man in the northwestern province of Bursa exhibits nearly 1,000 items reflecting the Yorük-Türkmen tradition in his house, which he has turned into a museum.
Akman, who was also the chairman of the Bursa Ertuğrulgazi Osmangazi Yörük-Türkmen Association in the past, organized many events in order to pass on his culture to future generations.
