BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Sunday evening more than 35 rioters had been arrested after an attempt to take over Serbian state institutions by force.

Vucic was speaking to Pink TV after a National Security Council session called to address the riots.

DOHA - Serbia has not sold a single piece of arms or ammunition to either Ukraine or Russia, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Sunday, announcing further investments in the national defence industry.

Speaking to reporters during a visit to Qatar, Vucic said Serbia had sold no arms or ammunition whatsoever to either side in the Ukraine conflict.

ABU DHABI - UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed al Nahyan visited the Serbia booth at the IDEX 2023 arms fair in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday.

He was cordially welcomed by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, who gave him a presentation of exhibits.

The booth features several Serbian defence industry companies, including heavyweight Yugoimport-SDPR.

Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin, who heads a delegation of Serbia at the International Fair of Armaments and Military Equipment "IDEX 2019" in Abu Dhabi, said this event is an opportunity to see what Serbia can offer in the sphere of the defence industry.
