New York Times correspondent denied entry into Turkey
Veteran New York Times correspondent Rod Nordland was briefly detained by border officials in Turkey as he arrived on Jan. 17 at Istanbul's Ataturk Airport, before being forced to take a flight back to London, with no explanation given as to why he had been refused entry into the country.
Serbian company to build second-largest bridge in Norway
BELGRADE - VNG Ltd., a Serbian company based in Novi Sad, will next year start construction of the second-largest bridge in Norway, which will be 1,533 m long.
The Hllogaland bridge, with a 1,145 m main span, will stretch along Rombaksfjorden in the Narvik municipality, Nordland county, said a statement published on Norway's official website for Serbia.
