New Continental plant opens in Subotica
SUBOTICA - A new plant of German car part maker Continental was opened in Subotica, northern Serbia, on Tuesday.
Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic, who spoke with the plant's management before the opening ceremony, said the factory, which will hire over 500 people, was another proof the government kept every promise made to investors, and to the benefit of the Serbian citizens.

Horrific accident leaves 3 dead, including 2 children
Two boys, aged five and eight, and a 45-year-old man lost their lives early on Friday in a traffic accident on the Novi Sad-Subotica highway.
The website 021.rs is reporting that the crash happened at around 01:30 CET, and that the victims died on the spot.
Migrants tried to rape underage girl in Subotica
SUBOTICA - Two Pakistani nationals, settled in the Reception Centre in Subotica, attacked on Monday an underage girl and tried to rape her.
At that moment a man was passing by and prevented the rape.

Two migrants detained for sexually assaulting girl
The Basic Court in Subotica has ordered two Pakistani citizens held in detention for up to 30 days.
They were arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting an underage girl in this northern Serbian town.

Belgrade, Zagreb still at odds over Serbia's jurisdiction law
SUBOTICA - Serbian and Croatian Foreign Ministers Ivica Dacic and Miro Kovac on Friday reiterated a willingness for further improvement of relations between their two countries, but noted that disagreements remained over Serbia's law on universal jurisdiction over war crimes committed in the former Yugoslavia.
"Borders do not stop process, refugees passing through"
Asylum Protection Center NGO President Rados Djurovic has said that although the Balkan route has formally been closed, refugees are "still passing through."
They are heading for the Hungarian-Serbian border "and then continuing their journey onward," Djurovic said on Thursday in Subotica, northern Serbia.

Body found inside theater premises in northern town
A lifeless body has been discovered in the building of the National Theater in Subotica, northern Serbia, Beta reported.
The agency said on Monday that this has been confirmed by the local police.
