The factory manufactures electric and electronic equipment for passenger and commercial vehicles.

Novi Sad named 2019 European Youth Capital

NOVI SAD - Novi Sad was named the 2019 European Youth Capital in Varna, Bulgaria, on Wednesday evening.
"After winning the 2021 European Culture Capital title, Novi Sad won again in Varna, Bulgaria, and we were named the 2019 European Youth Capital. A double for Novi Sad", Mayor Milos Vucevic told Tanjug.

Man sentenced to 15 years for brutal murder - his second
A court in Novi Sad has found 59-year-old Mihalj Skivijan guilty of murder and sentenced him to 15 years in prison.
Skivijan killed 30-year-old Merima Redzepova, with whom he was in a relationship, by striking her on the head with a hammer at least 15 times.
President confident of reelection if he decides to run again

Novi Sad and Timisoara, Romania, will in November be joined by a city in Greece - Eleusis, Kalamata or Rhodes.
Novi Sad beat Montenegro's Herceg Novi in the final selection round, becoming the first city from a non-EU country to take the prestigious title.
