Media urged to join protest on World Press Freedom Day

NUNS, UNS and the Nezavisnost media branch trade union are urging media to stop broadcasting Wednesday within the "Five minutes of thunderous silence" campaign.

In separate statements, the journalist associations said the traditional campaign is a warning to the public about the never-worst position of the journalistic profession in Serbia.

Nuns claim they were abused while living in a convent (vid)

A former nun claimed that she was forced to engage in self-flagellation and write her vows in her own blood while living in a convent in Italy.

In an interview with an Italian newspaper the woman claims that the nuns of Franciscan Sisters of the Immaculate were forced to take part in punishing rituals, as Daily Mail reports.

Archaeologists in Oxford, discovered a series of 92 skeletons in digs. The peculiar fact, however, is that among them is a team of “Sex-crazed nuns”.

 

According to the findings dating back to 1110 A.D., 25 of the skeletons were men, 35 were women, and 29 cannot be determined.
